Caroline, Rosie and I decided to take a walk the day before we left for Florida (Sept 4th). Raven Rock State Park is about 45 miles southwest of Raleigh between Lillington and Sanford. The Cape Fear River runs through the middle of the park,which makes for some very nice scenery.
