Linville Falls and a Spruce Pine sunrise and sunset
Table Rock Mountain.
Just east of Linville Falls.
The Linville River.
The Upper Falls.
Father and son.
Mother and son bonding.
The Upper Falls and Lower Falls.
To get an idea of the scale:
there is a right and left
Upper Falls. Just below
the left falls you can just make
out someone in red standing
on the rocks.
Enjoying the view.
Both Falls from an distant overlook.
Our bedroom faces south.
It has a sliding glass door
with vertical white blinds.
One morning I woke up just
after 7 and the blinds were red.
When I looked out, it was as
bright as the photo appears
(this is facing east).
Same morning, but looking west.
Sunset.
Looked like a fire in the sky.
My son, Jerry, came to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. On Sunday the 29th, he, Caroline and I went for an outing at Linville Falls. It is at milepost 317 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The leaves may be gone, but it was still spectacular.
