Out and about in Western North Carolina
We spent the week-end of March 19th with Tracy and Kreg to celebrate their birthdays: Tracy is a St. Patrick's Day girl and Kreg's is 4 days later. We got there early enough on Saturday to go for a walk along the Laurel River, which is about 6 miles NE of Hot Springs and about 3 miles west of the NC/Tenn border. The trail is an old railroad bed, so it is very flat. It only rises 220' in the 3.5 mile length. The day started out cloudy, but as you will see in the photos, it cleared up nicely.

What a handsome couple !!
