Last day in Stonington
Tomorrow we leave for Hull's Cove for a week, which is about 3 miles from Acadia National Park. It's been a good 2 weeks in Stonington. Except for today, which has been foggy, the weather has been great.
Dice Head Light in Castine,
about 40 miles from Stonington
Checking out the tide pools at low tide
Carpet of moss in one of the preserves
Lobster fest !! (our daughter Tracy
and her husband Kreg.
[I still like shrimp and clams better])
A view from an old granite quarry
As mentioned above, fogged
in on the last day
(see the second photo
in the 8-13 blog for the
un-fogged view).
