We go cruisin'

As I mentioned in my last blog, we decided at the last minute to take a cruise to the western Caribbean.  We left Feb. 21st and came back on Feb. 28th.  There were 3 stops: Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.  A few things didn't go quite right, but it was a good cruise. 

The cruise ship; had 3,000 passengers and 1,100 crew members.

Grand Cayman Island.  We were suppose to dock at Georgetown, which is on the SE tip of the island, but due high winds had to docksomewhere on the north side.

Pretty, but rough.


You can see how hard the waves were breaking against the bulkhead by comparing it with the houseto the left.  The 5 poles are lightsthat are on a pier.

Our stop at Cozumel.  We didn't wander very far, so we just stayed where the ship docked.

Live music at the restaurant where we had lunch.  They had margheritasthat will knock your socks off !!
